The D4D site now has a more permanent (and zippier) home at Monochrome.
Today's call will focus on the following:
review progress from last call
housekeeping issues
* closing up security holes (/files/*)
* setting up Organic Groups properly
* proper staging process and workflow for publishing content
showcase
* getting showcase content together
* setting up a press room for announcing new sites
* who's the press contact?
* who's webmaster/editor?
training
* establish a taxonomy for training materials

Meeting introductions and site history
So very important to this initiative, our conference call started off today with Claudio pointing out that our vision is still very much alive and well. It's clear by the number of people still seeking to participate a couple of months after DrupalCon Boston that the Design For Drupal initiative, or D4D, as we seem to be calling it for short, is going to have legs over time.
Call agenda for 4/28/08
Here are the topics that we'd like to cover in today's call
- a recap of the site's mission, scope and its architecture: namely, what should be included in the site and where we can get this content from
- a quick review of the site's theme as it stands right now
- upcoming tasks and requirements:
- determine list of modules needed for D4D site
- implement forums, events and organic groups so that D4D can have its own project management
